Muzzy Izzet is a former Turkey International and Premier League footballer who is famous for his assistance and determination on field. The midfielder spent most of his career as a successful footballer at Leicester City but also spent years as a pro at Chelsea and later at Birmingham City.
Muzzy’s claim to fame came when he moved to Leicester City and was an integral part of team’s successful League Cup winning campaign in 1997 and Championship playoff’s win in 1996.
His partnership with Neil Lennon in the central midfield was one of the main reasons for Leicester City’s successful stay in the Premier League for a number of years.
Muzzy Izzet also holds the honour of representing his country Turkey in the biggest stage of them all, the FIFA World Cup. Izzet was part of Turkey’s semi-finalist team in the 2002 World Cup played in South Korea & Japan.
